Over two decades, my life has been dedicated to off-grid and sustainable living. It all began in 2003, when I converted UC Santa Cruz's transportation to biodiesel. This led to forming a student club to carry the sustainability torch. I then launched a business converting diesel engines to run on recycled vegetable oil. This took me to Brazil, teaching at a Permaculture Institute.

In Brazil, I immersed myself in natural building techniques like Cob and Strawbale, and mastered permaculture design including grey water systems, water catchment, mushroom cultivation, compost toilets, biogas, and learning Portuguese

 
I applied this knowledge in Costa Rica, creating a sustainable lodge, learning Spanish, and creating a bamboo export company

Economic shifts in 2008 prompted my return to the US. I explored diverse roles from bookkeeping for non-profits to becoming an electrician , but my heart was in sustainability. This led me to real estate, where I found my calling. Guiding clients to their dream sustainable properties while drawing from my land development expertise became my purpose.
